Our History
CN Canvas Pte Ltd, which is also formerly known as Chinam & Company was established in 1969. We started as a family business founded by our forefathers and it was passed down through four generations. In remembering our good old days– we have certainly collected a long-established series of remarkable breakthroughs.
Despite the many hurdles met, our hard work has brought about our streak of capacity expansion. Back in the day, we started our foundation from the famed location, Syed Alwi Road – the legendary birthplace of the canvas trade.
Strong Team
To date, after approximately three subsequent years, we have acquired one of the biggest canvas workshop in Singapore. Noticeably located in the heart of Serangoon, CN Canvas boasts a stunning 11,000 sqft production space.With the advancement to a well-sheltered, larger production unit, we have increased our operation capacity and ability to take on a bigger amount of projects, regardless of size or scale, no matter rain or shine. Through this, we have seen speedy, unrestraint work progress, enabling us to obtain a much more dynamic team. Our crew consists of young and creative members, who possess excellent attitudes of determination in keeping updated with the latest technology.

Our employees are our best asset. We treat every employee with respect and we value their commitment to us. In which is why, our employees’ welfare are greatly taken care of and we constantly provide training courses for them to upgrade their skills. We have also looked into the aspect of corporatization for a couple of years – Today, through the expansion of our core capabilities, we have been able to implement reliable softwares for the improvement of our business practices.
